How it works

Three steps, and you're connected

Nothing to install, nobody to wait for: connect yourself, from any computer, one time only - and start receiving WhatsApp messages by email within minutes.

1

Scan a code

Sign up on the site and scan a QR code from WhatsApp - on your office device or an existing one. From that moment, Kesher is connected.

2

Receive by email

Every message, group, photo and document arrives in your inbox - organized as a conversation with bubbles, names and times. Voice notes arrive as audio files.

3

Reply from email

Click Reply, type, send. The message goes out from your own number - and the other side sees perfectly ordinary WhatsApp.

Already have an active WhatsApp? Self-service setup in minutes: scan a QR code or enter a pairing code - no waiting for anyone.
No WhatsApp at all? Guided activation over a single phone call, same day - the verification code goes straight to your kosher phone.
Who it's for

If your work runs on WhatsApp - this is for you

Kesher Kasher is a WhatsApp service for the kosher-phone community: anyone who keeps a kosher phone gets their conversations by email - and replies from there, on their own.

Employees and kollel members with a kosher phone

Work groups and office updates reach you by email - and you answer from there yourself, without a smartphone and without asking favors.

Freelancers and professionals

Insurance agents, realtors and bookkeepers: your clients write on WhatsApp - and you close everything from your inbox, documented and organized.

Organizations and offices

Employing Haredi staff? Your whole team connected through one orderly channel, with central management and a single invoice for the organization.

Institutions and communities

Announcements to staff, parents and community members reach everyone by email - including those without a smartphone.

What you get

Not message forwarding.
All of WhatsApp, inside your email.

Messages, groups, images, documents and voice notes - inside your inbox. No extra screen, no app.

A conversation, not a thread

Each email shows the latest messages as chat bubbles with names and colors - you see the full context at a glance.

Smart bundling

An active group won't flood your inbox: messages are bundled into one digest email every few minutes, at the frequency you choose.

Photos and documents

Photos appear inside the conversation and are attached as files. Invoices, spreadsheets and plans - received and sent as usual.

Voice notes - in writing

Every voice note arrives as an audio file - and with the optional transcription add-on, as full Hebrew text too. Read in seconds instead of listening for minutes.

Invisible to the other side

Replies are sent from your own number. Clients, suppliers and groups see ordinary WhatsApp - they don't know and don't need to.

You decide who reaches you

Full control over who can even reach you: block unknown contacts, allow only the chats and groups you approved, or open it up to everyone. Mute any conversation with one click - and turn on only the ones you want. The filter is in your hands.

Guards your home

Choose exactly which groups come through, a "text-only" mode with no images, and pairing-code connection - designed for filtered environments. Actual compatibility may vary by provider and profile.

Shabbos mode - built in

Flip one switch, and on Shabbos the system is completely silent: no WhatsApp email is sent from candle-lighting to havdala - based on each week's real times. Everything received on Shabbos waits, and is sent automatically after havdala. Runs 24/6.

FAQ

What people ask us

Do I need WhatsApp on my phone?
No. Your kosher phone stays exactly as it is. You connect once by scanning a code from a device that has WhatsApp (an office device, an existing device, or a family member's), and from that moment on everything runs entirely through email.
Does it work with Netfree and email filters?
The system is designed for filtered internet environments (NetFree, Rimon, Etrog, Nativ and others): the emails use a simple, clean format with no scripts and no external loading, there is a "text-only" mode in which no images are delivered at all, and you can connect with a pairing code instead of QR. Actual compatibility may vary by provider and profile; a NetFree site-approval request is submitted at launch.
Will the people I message know it came from email?
No. Messages are sent from your own number and look like a completely ordinary WhatsApp message: same name, same profile picture, same conversation. In groups too.
Won't an active group flood my inbox?
No. Kesher bundles messages from active groups into a single digest email every few minutes (you set the frequency), so instead of dozens of emails you get one tidy conversation page. Personal chats arrive immediately.
What about the privacy of my messages?
Messages are encrypted in transit, files are automatically deleted from our servers after 30 days, and we do not keep content beyond what is needed to deliver your messages - unless you asked for an archive.
Can we connect several employees in an organization?
Absolutely - organizations get a dedicated product, Kosher Bridge: instead of an account and a device per employee, one Kesher bridge account is joined to the organization’s work groups, and every employee receives their assigned groups by email - and replies from email - with no WhatsApp and no smartphone for anyone. We run the guided setup, the organization gets one invoice, and a central screen shows every employee and their connection state. Up to 10 employees at one price; bigger teams by custom quote.
How much does WhatsApp-in-email cost?
₪25 per month for a personal user, with unlimited messages - including groups, files and voice notes. Voice-note-to-text transcription is available as a paid add-on. For organizations there is a dedicated product, Kosher Bridge: one bridge account joined to the organization’s work groups serves the whole team - ₪199 per month for up to 10 employees. Annual billing on the personal plan: ₪250 per year (two months free). Registration is open. The personal and premium plans include a one-week free trial; the pay-per-day track is bought upfront and Kosher Bridge is arranged after a demo. There are two tracks. If you have a device (or can get hold of one), setup is ₪29 and it stays at your home. If you have none, or want no device in your home at all, the premium track is ₪129 setup - we buy a dedicated device for you, hold it and maintain it - with a monthly management fee in place of the regular subscription. Launch prices are locked for 12 months from sign-up; after that, the then-current price applies.
How do you connect WhatsApp to a kosher phone without a smartphone?
Self-service in minutes: sign up on the site and scan a QR code (or enter a pairing code) from any device that has WhatsApp - an office device, a family member's device, or an old one. No access to such a device? We will run a phone-assisted activation on hardware we provide, with the verification code sent directly to your kosher phone.
Can I receive WhatsApp groups by email?
Yes, groups included. Every group you choose arrives in your inbox as a styled conversation page with bubbles, names and colors, and active groups are bundled into one digest email every few minutes - so your inbox stays tidy.
I already have WhatsApp on another phone - can I connect in parallel?
Yes. The service connects as a linked device - exactly like WhatsApp Web - so your existing phone keeps working as usual, while every conversation also reaches your email and you can reply from either.
There are free services - why pay?
Free services usually send from a shared number or a different number (the other side does not recognize you), some are one-way or read-only, and they rely on volunteer infrastructure. Kesher Kasher sends from your own number, fully two-way and in real time - with support and reliability you can build your workday on.

The phone stays kosher.
The connection stays whole.

Registration is open - sign up and we call to help with the first link-up. Connected within minutes from the moment your code arrives. Nothing to lose - except being cut off.
